Rubber Workers Elect Officers
The former president of .the Canterbury Rubber Workers’ Union, Mr T. Fletcher, was elected secretary in a recent ballot, Mr Fletcher succeeds Mr A. B. Grant, now a member of the Arbitration Court. Other officers elected in the ballot were:—President, Mr H. Anderson; vice-president, Mr W. Salt (elected unopposed); executive, Mrs I. Jackson, Messrs J. Jackson, C. M. Hobbs. F. Norton. A. H. Evans, C. R. Lomax, and A Dearden.
