Sir Malcolm Sargent Has Four Lion Cubs

When Sir Malcolm Sargent returns to Britain in about a month's time, he will be looking for somewhere to keep four vigorous little lion cubs. Sir Malcolm a trustee of the London Zoo, “-adopted" the cubs last week while visiting the zoo at Perth, where he was conducting concerts. The zoo authorities were so Impressed by the famous conductor’s apparent admiration for the cubs that they told him he could have them.
Before he left from Sydney at the end of his Australian tour today. Sir Malcolm Sargent said there would not be room for the cubs at the London Zoo. He hoped to find a home for them at another British zoo. “They’re getting too big and hungry to keep u houMhold peta,” he uid.
