APPEAL OVER PLACING
Dismissal. By Committee (New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI, June 17. An appeal by R. T. Beale against the relegation of Sagittarius to second place in the Oroua Downs Hack Hurdles by the judicial committee of the Foxton Racing Club on May 21, has been dismissed by a unanimous decision of the Wanganui district committee. The committee also recommended that Beale’s deposit of £lO be forfeited. The Foxton committee’s action was taken after an inquiry into a charge of interference. Blue Rock being promoted to first and Sagittarius relegated to second place.
