Gas Heater Fire.— Fire in the underside of the floor behind a gas heater caused severe damage to a wall and partition in the home of Mr J. H. Booth, at 41 McDougall avenue at 1140 am. yesterday. One unit from the Cen- _ tral Fire Station and another from St. Albans attended. The fire was believed to have been caused when gas leaking from a faulty joint ignited.
