“LITTLE BISLEY” FOR N.Z.?

WELLINGTON, June 17. If plans of the National Rifle Association come to fruition. New Zealand will run its own “Little Bisley” next -year. During a farewell luncheon today to the 16 members of the New Zealand team to compete at Bisley next month, the national president (Mr Ballinger) expressed the hope that teams from the United Kingdom. South Africa, and Australia, at least, would come to < Trentham for the centennial meeting next year. “It is my desire that our centennial meeting will be something which is almost the equal of Bisley.” he said The Prime Minister (Mr Nash) and the Minister of Defence (Mr Connolly) were present with services representatives and other guests at the luncheon at the Wel-
lington airport. If everyone could see as straight as a rifleman there would not be so much difficulty in the world, the Prime Minister told the reception.
