Unions’ “Unity” Conference
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 17 New Zealand freezing workers’ unions will meet in Wellington on Wednesday under the auspices of the Federation of Labour, for what the F.O.L. has termed a “unity conference.” The president of the F.O.L. (Mr F. P. Walsh) said tonight that the principle purpose was to form a national organisation of freezing workers. "They are all in bits and pieces at the moment,” said Mr Walsh.
