NATIONAL PARTY IN ST. ALBANS
Mr A. S. Hollander A Candidate Mr A. S. Hollander, aged 31. youngest member of the Christchurch City Council, will be among the nominations for National Party selection to contest the St. Albans seat at the General Election. Mr Hollander confirmed on Wednesday that he had been approached to let his name go forward for selection and had agreed to do so.
He was elected to the City Council at the last municipal elections and was later appointed one of the council’s representatives on the Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Board. Mr Hollander makes the sixth almost definite candidate for selection.
