Canterbury Gun Championships

J. McKenzie won the Canterbury skeet championship decided recently at Rangiora, when skeet, double rise, and sparrow clay championships were decided over two days. Ideal conditions prevailed for the first day, but such was not tile case for the final day, when the single rise and trophy matches were decided with a cold southerly wind blowing. Results were:— Double rise championship (47 entries): S. G. Holmes won in a shoot-off with J. Gilmore and A. Brown, who was runner-up. Those with 17-on were C. Streeter, E. G. Amyes, L. Lanauze, W.
