FARMER PRAISES MR SKINNER
“Prompt Action On Dumping Issue” (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 16. The chairman of the Dominion dairy produce section of Federated Farmers (Mr R. Woolerton) today paid a tribute to the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Skinner). Addressing the section’s annual conference in Wellington, Mr Woolerton said the dairy industry's losses on the United Kingdom market through dumping of foreign butter would have been “much greater but for the efforts of the Minister of Agriculture.” Mr Woolerton praised Mr Shinner for the “expeditious manner in which he took up the matter with the United Kingdom Government early in 1958.”
