“Truce” In Japan
NEW YORK, June 15. The Japanese Government today bowed to Leftist opposition and postponed final ratification of the United StatesJapan military alliance until after President' Eisenhower’s visit. Parliament will go into recess during the President’s visit, deferring the date from which the treaty will take effect This is in the nature of a political truce so that Mr Eisenhower’s visit can be made a success, American Associated Press said.
