AUCTIONEER’S NOTE: It is known throughout the whole of Canterbury that the land and homestead have been the most coveted possession. The magnificent homestead and surroundings, together with the 112 acres, is without a doubt one of the finest properties in New Zealand. It has been in the Sharp family for 65 years, and the fat cattle sent into Addington from this farm have been renowned. The 100 acres can be divided into 9 blocks of 10 acres or more without roading It is most unusual, and it has always appeared most unlikely that this beautiful farm should come on the market, but it is to be auctioned now to definitely wind up the estate. We would be only too pleased to supply further particulars to intending purchasers. Inspection will only be by appointment with the auctioneers.

If the property is not sold as a whole it will be divided into 3 Lots. Lot 1 the homestead and 8 acres. Lot 2 the 50-acre block bounded by the Halswell river, and Lot 3 the 50-acre block adjoining.
