PUBLIC NOTICE pursuant to Section 106 (2) of “The Counties Act, 1956,” is hereby given that the Ashley County Council has prepared and approved the following estimate for the period commencing on April 1, 1960, and ending on March 31, 1961. £ (1) The proposed expenditure of the said County is:— a. Administration, Salaries, Allowances, Office and Legal, Audit, Valuation, Insurances, Printing, - etc. .. .2,191 b. County roads and bridges, maintenance and construction .. 18,089 c. Plant purchases and maintenance .. .. 6,703 d. Miscellaneous .. 1,644 28,627 (2) The amounts available for the above purposes are:— . a. Credit balances .. 6,397 b. All rates as directed by Special Order of the North Canterbury Catchment Board. Such rates to be for the period commencing on April 1. 1960, and ending on March 31, 1961, and shall become due and payable in one sum on September 1, 1960. at the office of the Ashley County Council, Loburn, where the Valuation Rolls are open for inspection during office hours.
