RAILWAY LINE FOR SALE
Call For Tenders Next Week
{New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 3.
Tenders for the purchase of the Dargaville-Donnelly’s Crossing railway line will be called this week by the Minister of Railways (Mr Moohan). After investigation by the Railv ys Department, the decision was made so that the line could continue to be operated as a jailway.
The Minister said today that all the parties concerned in the preservation of the line had been informed of the decision.
