The Public Accounts
Sir,—On May 28 you printed an editorial entitled “Who Understands the Public Accounts?” which ended by saying, “We should all know then where we were going economically. Now no-one knows.” Very interesting, indeed, for four days earlier you wrote an editorial on the public accounts. Does this mean that Mr Watts. Mr Rowe, and “The Press" did not know what they are talking about?—Yours, etc.. . FARMER. May 30, 1960.
