Diamond Harbour’s Water
The diver working on the breaks in the water main to Diamond Harbour is reported to be making good progress, but it is not known when the service will be restored. On .Tuesday 3000 gallons was carted by road tanker from Lyttelton to replenish the reservoir, and a further 6000 gallons was carted yesterday.
