FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation: A depression is moving away to the southeast of New Zealand. Forecast: West Coast.—Fresh west to south-west winds; weather changeable, with showers and fine intervals; temperatures cool. Outlook: similar conditions. Nelson, Marlborough, and Canterbury.—Moderate to fresh south-westerlies predominating, decreasing gradually; weather fine, except for isolated showers, mainly near the coast at first: temperatures cool.
