NEW DENTAL SCHOOL
New Target Date Announced (New Zeatana Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 29. September 30 has been set as the target date for the provisional handing over of the new dental school building to the university authorities for the moving in of the specialist dentistry equipment. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Works district architect in Dunedin (Mr W. A. Garth) today after consultation with one of the principals of the Christchurch contracting firm, Mr C. S. Luney. The original target date was September 30, 1959, which was extended later to June of this year after difficulties were encountered with the piles in the sub-soil and time was lost.
