Forecast:— Marlborough and Nelson —Fresh northerlies developing; becoming cloudy with some brief light rain likely this afternoon; cool to moderate temperatures Outlook: partly cloudy. West Coast.—Westerly winds prevailing at first and tending southerly later today; cloudy and cool with occasional rain, especially this afternoon. Outlook: cloudy. Canterbury.—Fresh southerlies spreading from the south this afternoon or evening; partly cloudy at first but overcast, cold and showery conditions developing with the Outlook: cloudy with occasional showers.
