Christchurch-Sydney Fares
(New Zealand Press Assoctatinm AUCKLAND, April 26.
Mr T. L. Bolster, T.E.A.L.’s public relations officer, said tonight that the ChristchurchSydney fares would be the same as those for Auckland to Sydney. The projected Wellington-Sydney fares were expected to be the same as Auckland-Sydney, but they had not yet been filed or formally approved by the Government.
Woolston Horticultural Society. —The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Woolston Horticultural Society: President, Mr W. H. Yates; honorary secretary-trea-surer, Mrs H. Wakefield; auditor. Mrs C. S. Clulee; assistant secretary, Mr S. R. Brough; committee, Messrs G. Challies, T. Carlyle, R. Gage, G. H. Roberts. J. N. Work, J. Phillips, and J. Hitchings, J. Phillips, T. Carlyle. Hitchings, J. Phillips, T. Carlyle W. H. Yates, and Miss A. Thorne. ,
