Soccer REPRESENTATIVE SQUAD
Ten Players Named After Trial The Canterbury xoceer selector. Mr W. Carruthers, has announced 10 names towards the representative training squad. The players were named after the first trial game played at Rlccarton Domain on Sunday. The remainder of the squad will be selected after the second trial game at Lyttelton next Sunday. The 10 named ere: I. Graham (Nomads), D. Simmonds (Nomadsi, H. Taylor (Shamrock), T. Lynch (Christchurch City), S. Furlonger (Western), El Bennett (Christchurch City). D. Worthington (Christchurch City). Hing Y Sue (western). J. Cullen (Nomads), A. Verham (Technical Old Boys). Newcomers to the quad are Glng Y Sue, Verham. Bennett, Furlonger. and Cullen. A notable omission from the list is a goalkeeper. The squad will start training at Wigram today under the auspices of the official coach, Mr F. Hayden.
