CADUCEUS ON WAY TO U.S.
In Sydney For Two Hours

The champion New Zealand pacer and record stake-winner, Caduceus, reached Sydney in the Monowai today on his seventh trip to Sydney, but it was only a fleeting visit. Two hours after he was taken off the Monowai. he was loaded on to an air freighter with three other horses to fly to America Meantime, he was taken to the Harold Park track, where he was given a sand roll.
With Fettle and Marciano. Caduceus is to contest the 150.000dollar pacing series at Yonkers in New York in June.
Caduceus was accompanied by his trainer-driver, J. D. Litten. who will be his reinsman in America.
The freighter will fly to New York via London. There will be several stops and the trip will take eight days.
