Rowing Auckland Wins Eights
(New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI, April 17. Auckland won the inter-provincial eights for the Hallyburton-Johnston Cup, rowed on the Wanganui river on Saturday in perfect water condition*. Auckland finished a length and a quarter ahead of Wanganui, which was three-quarters of a length ahead of Otago. Canterbury was fourth, a half length farther back. Wellington was fifth and Marlborough was sixth. •
