PIGEON RACING
East Christchurch Club
The East Christchurch Pigeon Club recently held the last race of the young bird season from Kaikoura, a distance of 105 miles. Conditions were good and the winning birds flew the distance in 2hr 24mln 22sec. The following are the results:— W. Walls. 2hr 24min, 22sec. 1, Mann and Anderson 2. H. Courtier 3. K. Harrison 4, M. Towart 5, R. Wallace 6, L. Starling 7, B. Partridge 8.
H. Courtier won the nominated bird prize.
