SHARPEVILLE INQUIRY
Postponement For Month Sought (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) JOHANNESBURG, April 11. At Vereeniging, near Johannesburg, today, a lawyer asked the judicial inquiry into last month’s Sharpeville police shootings for a sine die postponement in view of “the scope of events” that had followed the shootings. The lawyer (Mr H. Hanson) made his request as soon as the inquiry began. The Judge adjourned the hearing until tomorrow to consider the request.
