Soviet Trek Ends
(Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, April 11. The fifth Russian Antarctic expedition has completed its first tractor-sledge trek from the Mirny observatory to the northern limits of the Sovietskaya plateau, and back, a distance of 2174 miles, according to Moscow Radio. The sled train covered the 1080 miles to the Komsomolskaya station in 43 days. British United Press reported. Reacton for India.— Two more atomic research reactors will go into operation in India within the next six months. They would bring the number of research reactors in India to three.—Bombay, April 12.
