WOOLWORTHS BUYS FOOD STORES
26 New Outlets In Three Months (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright)' SYDNEY, April 11. Woolworths, Ltd., has bought another group of food stores in New South Wales. They are the six “Safeway” food stores at Burwood, Newtown, Chatswood, Leichhardt, Bondi Junction and Top Ryde. Mr Theo Kelly, managing-direc-tor of Woolworths, announced the new acquisition today. Woolworths has now added 26 food outlets to the organisation in the last three months.
