COMMERCIAL Stock Exchange Opens On Firm Note
"P 1 ® Christchurch Stock Exchange opened the week s business yesterday on a firm note. Higher pnc« were paid for Bank of N.S.W., Ansett rights, Tip Top Ice and W. R. Carpenter. Hay s notes were 6d up on buyers* quotations. Transport (Nelson) were weaker on quotation. An average volume of business was concentrated manly on New Zealand domiciled shares.
