Anderson Beats Cooper In Long Match (New Zealand Press Association) INVERCARGILL, April 11. After a long and dour struggle. Mat Anderson beat Ashley Cooper, SS-SO, 7-9. 9-7, in a professional tennis tournament in Invercargill tonight. The game, played before about SOO spectators, lasted nearly three hours. In the other singles game, which was confined to one set, Frank Sodgeman beat Lew Road. 10-9.
