Immigrant Makes Fairyland Park.—A 48-year-old German immigrant, Peter Mayer, has transformed a rugged rocky mountain into Australia's first children’s fairyland park. Two years ago Mr Mayer had the idea of creating a fairy park in Australia after seeing similar parks in his native city of Bensheim, near Heidelberg. Last year he obtained 16 acres including Mount Elephant, about 65 miles from Melbourne, and with his son, Helmut, and his wife, Elizabeth, started to clear the ground and construct the park.
