First prize of £lO,OOO was won by a ticket held by El Monte Ngongotoha, New Zealand. Other New Zealand prize winners were sixth prize of £5OO. to Merceedes. Wellington, seventh prize, of £350, to Mum and Beryl. Waimate. and ninth prize of £275. to Number 14 Mercer, New Zealand.
