U.K. Envoy In Paris
LONDON, April 11. Sir Pierson Dixon, who in 1954 succeeded Sir Gladwyn Jebb as Britain's permanent representative to the United Nations, is to follow him once again—as Ambassador in Paris. Sir Gladwyn’s retirement as British Ambassador in Paris was officially announced by the Foreign Office today. The Queen has approved a barony for him. S»r Pierson, who entered the Foreign Office in 1929, is being succeeded at the United Nations by Sir Patrick Dean, at present a deputy under-secretary at the Foreign Office.
