Events of particular interest during the year included schools in floral art at Lincoln and Killinchy, and a school for needlework at Duvauchelle.

Dressmaking classes were held at Killinchy, Akaroa, and Banks Peninsula. Millinery classes were also popular.

A school of procedure held at Leeston was attended by those in the Ellesmere group. The duties of president, secretary, and treasurer were described and many questions were answered.

Visitors from North Otago were entertained during the year, and a return visit was paid by executive members to Oamaru. and by members from Hornby to North Otago.
