Sarawak Appointment
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 10
The Minister of Education (Mr Skoglund) announced that Mr P. J. Caisley, the nominee of the Auckland Teachers’ College for a fellowship the students have instituted to help countries in Asia, will become group headmaster to a number of Dayak schools in Sarawak. Mr Daisley, aged 27, will supervise and advise native teachers of Dayak schools scattered over a wide area of Sarawak back country.
