SHIRLEY NORTH POST OFFICE
New Building In Acheson Avenue
A new post office will be built in Shirley north. This was announced by the PostmasterGeneral (Mr M. Moohan) in Christchurch yesterday. A single-storey brick and concrete construction, with a floor area of 1000 sq. ft., it will be built on a site in the shopping area in Acheson avenue. It will have three counter positions and all the facilities of a modern suburban post office. The architects are Hollis and Leonard, of Christchurch, and the builder will be S. F. Clark, Ltd.
