Farmers’ Trading Acquisitions
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April’l. The Farmers’ Trading Company. Ltd., has purchased the business of Papatoetoe Furniture and Electrical, Ltd., and Papatoetoe Carpet House, Ltd., both of which were started in 1954 by Messrs L. and D. Schubert. The transaction, which was completed today, was made by the allotment of shares and a cash payment. It is proposed to expand the two businesses but to retain their present identities. Mr O. Cross has been appointed manager.
