(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 1. “I am delighted that the report of the consultants endorses the view of the 1957 Combined Power Committee, on which supply authority engineers were represented,” said Mr W. S. N. Rennie, president of the Electrical Supply Authorities’ Association, this evening. “The Government should take into account in its future electricity planning the Cook Strait cable proposition, and the association asks that this now be done.”
