DISARMAMENT EXHIBITION
Slogans Written On Posters Persons arriving’ at the Public Library recently to assist with the exhibition arranged by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament found that someone had decided to add an exhibition of their own. Posters had been reversed and messages had been written on them. One bore the words “No world government.” Another said “This exhibition is the work of the international money power.” “This notice made us feel quite opulent,” said Mrs M. Woodward, secretary of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament
A third notice was found pinned to a map in the exhibition. This read “League of Empire Loyalists say: nuclear energy is the force which the international money power, based in New York, Tel Aviv and Moscow, is trying to monopolise for the enslavement of mankind, by means of world government."
When these notices were referred to Mr J. J. Dolan, the chairman of the League of Empire Loyalists, he said that he could make no comment on the incidents as he knew nothing about them.
“However, I think that it is someone completely outside our organisation,” he said. “It is true that we have taken on new members lately but they are all mature persons. The younger persons do not take any interest in world affairs,” said Mr Dolan.
