A course of three months’ tutoring in the theory and practice of nursing will be given prior to commencing in wards. Student Nurses commence at £6 16s 6d per week, rising by annual increments. In addition, board, uniforms, duty stockings and text books are provided free and a grant of £6 per annum is made for duty shoes. Four weeks’ annual leave is allowed.
