BEST ANNUAL ACCOUNTS

1958 Award To Wm. Cable

"The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON, March 4.

William Cable Holdings, Ltd., have won the award of the Incorporated Institute of Accountants for the best annual report and set of annual accounts during the calendar year ended December 31, 1958. This is the fourth time the award has been made. The first went to Transport (Nelson) Holdings, Ltd., and the next two to Felt and Textiles of New Zealand, Ltd. The award for the calendar year, 1959, is expected to be made about the middle of the year.

Judges for 1958 were Messrs H. E. Anderson, N. H. Chapman, D. A. Dale, E. C. W. Nathan and G. D. Stewart.

The Mayor of Wellington, Mr Kitts, will make the presentation on March 8 to the chairman of the winning company, Mr K. C. Campbell, who will be accompanied by his secretary, Mr W. L. Birnie.
