Dr. Moore To Walk In Australia

Dr. Barbara Moore said tonight that she would walk from Adelaide to Blacktown, outside Sydney, in June and early July. Dr. Moore said she received a letter from the Blacktown Railways Centenary Celebrations Committee today asking her to stage the walk. Late last month Dr. Moore refused the committee’s invitation to walk to Blacktown from Perth—a distance of 3000 miles—because the walk would be commercialised. Dr. Moore said she would write to the committee tonight accepting their latest offer. ’
