Business Firms’ Competition
Results from the fourth round of the inter-firm night tennis competition, played at the Opawa club's lighted courts, were:— Mercers 12, Bank of N.Z. 1; C.F.M. 3, Bank of N.S.W. 0; A.N.Z. Bank 3, Mercers II 0; Ashby, Bergh 3, N.Z. Farmers 0; St. G. Atkinson 2. Royal Insurance 1; Standard Vacuum 3, Shell 0; N.A.C. 2, Reckitt and Coleman 0; Robinsons 2. M.O.W. 1.
Town Hall Raffle.— The raffle for a seaside section and other prizes, held by Town Hall Promotion last year, produced £913.
