HOLMGLEN INQUIRY
Members Named By Minister

WELLINGTON, January 21.
“Mr A. C. Perry, a barrister and solicitor, of Christchurch, will be president of the court of inquiry set up to inquire into the loss of the coastal vessel Holmglen,” the Minister of Marine (Mr Fox) announced to-day. Assisting Mr Perry as assessors will be Captain W. J. Kean, of Auckland, Mr A. M. M. Taylor, retired naval architect, of Wellington. and Mr E. Brown, a marine engineer and formerly chief surveyor of ships, also of Wellington. Mr Perry was president of the court which inquired into the fire on the Holmburn last year.
“The order of reference is drafted in the widest possible terms with a view to ensuring that all possible causes of the casualty are examined,” Mr Fox said.
“It is hoped the court will start the hearing toward the end ot February,” he added.
