Mr Holyoake’s Sons Working Way Home
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 20. Messrs Roger and Peter Holyoake, aged 24 and 22, sons of the leader of the Opposition (Mr HolyoakeJ, will travel “the hard way” i/hen they sail from Auckland for Britain in the Hurunui tomorrow. They will work their passages as temporary stewards. The Holyoake boys are going to Britain to widen their experience of farming and of life generally.
A researcher reported that the average Congressman talked twice as long as the average Congresswoman in the House of Representatives in the last session.
