Princess Michiko To Have Baby

Princess Michiko, wife of Japan’s Crown Prince Akihito, is to become a mother in the next few days. The Imperial Household Board announced tonight the Princess would go into hospital tomorrow. Formerly Miss Michiko Shoda. daughter of a Tokyo flourmiller, the Princess became the first commoner in 2000 years to marry into the Royal Family with her wedding last April.
Silk Stockings Again.— Silk stockings are apparently making a comeback in Britain and United States. Pushed off the market when nylons appeared, silk stockings have many advantages. Their best , feature is that they are not as h&t on the feet when summer temperatures soar.
