Lady Cortauld raced in New Zealand as Rise Again. She was bought by Mr M. J. Moodabe and sent to Australia, where she was renamed and has reached top class under the leading Sydney trainer, T. J. Smith. Hillford, a gelding, is owned by his breeder, Mr W. R. Hill., and trained by L. W. Ford at Matamata. Both Mr Moodabe and Smith watched him win at Thames.
