New Zealand will definitely enter a team in the European zone of the 1960 Davis Cup lawn tennis competition. This was announced by Mr F. S. Ramson, chairman of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association’s management committee. The two players who have been chosen for the team, L. A. Gerrard and M. A. Within the next two weeks, the New Zealand selectors, Messrs G. C. Reid, M. C. Healey, and A, S. Bums, will advise the management committee eof any other players up to the required standard. The qom-

Likely candidates for the remaining places in the team are B. E. Woolf, K. H. Long, G. G. Judge. J. H. Lockington, R. Hawkes, J. B. Souter, ana R. G. Clarke. On present form Lockington and Clarke could be considered the top prospects.
