Macmillan To Visit Rome
(Rec. 9.20 p.m.) LONDON, January 9.
The British Prime Minister (Mr Harold Macmillan) will visit Rome from March 22 to 24, at the invitation of the Italian Government, it was officially announced today
Mr Macmillan, who is now touring Africa, will be accompanied to Rome by his Foreign Secretary (Mr Selywn Lloyd). Diplomatic observers noted that Mr Macmillan’s visit to Rome coincides with the tour of France by the Soviet Prime Minister (Mr Khrushchev). Mr Khrushchev is due to visit France for a fortnight, from March 15.
