Mr Philip Noel-Baker, the 70-year-old British Labour M.P., is giving £12,000 of his £15,219 Nobel Peace Prize to aid' disarmament, it was announced last night. . Y / ■ General Sir Ronald Adam, chairman of the United Nations Association, said Mr Noel-Baker had given £lO,OOO to the association’s special fund campaign in support of the policy of general disarmament under an effective system of international inspection and control, and a further £2OOO would be given to the World Federation of United Nations Associations to promote the international campaign for disarmament.
