DOUBLE AT BEAUMONT
Paper Clip And Grey Jacket
"The Press' Special Service DUNEDIN, December 4.
Paper Clip (Wetherstones Handicap) and Grey Jacket (Tuapeka Hack Handicap) may win the double at the Beaumont Racing Club’s meeting tomorrow. Paper Clip’s task has been made easier by the withdrawal of Palace, which will now start in the open sprint, the President’s Handicap. There was light rain in the district this morning, but it is not likely to affect the track, which is in splendid order.
