TELEVISION IN GHANA
Closed Circuit Set Up ACCRA. Television has come to Ghana —though still only for training purposes. A closed circuit has been set up at Broadcasting House —home of Ghana’s State-con-trolled broadcasting system—here to educate and train the men who will run the television service when it starts in Ghana, probably some time next year. A team of three Canadian television experts will shortly be coming at the Government’s invitation to sift recommendations and suggestions for a television service which have been received here from big companies all over the world, and to advise the Government on the service and equipment best suited to this country.—Reuter.
